Corsair: Gaming Chassis - Obsidian 800D

Go big or go home. That’s a lesson Corsair apparently took to heart for its first chassis, a 24x24x9-inch full-size enclosure. Corsair’s Obsidian 800D is all black, from its matte steel frame and side panels to its brushed-aluminum front bezel, from motherboard tray to front-panel cables, from screws.

People may differ from above stated but it is a fact that professional gamers want to see Obsidian 800D in Pakistan. Lets get the Issue on the community floor for open discussion before launching this Casing in Pakistan and let them decide if 300$ casing is worth for local market.

  4. No need to bring it to your store, you are just bringing expensive things, why don`t you put Arctic Thermal Paste, Lian-Li Chassis and VIA processor (Competitor of Intel Atom) etc.
Please consider it.... I am not disgracing you but giving my suggestion....

  5. well bring it in limited supply, i am sure it won't just be the gamers, ppl can double use the system as an executive server, but anyways, i do agree the casing is super expensive,
if i might add, you might want to bring in SFF cases as well considering how many microAtx mobo's are sold....not to mention go aggressive with ATOM's (meaning ION platforms etc..) with the power load in the PK these systems could easily be powered by the smallest of UPS (again needing a SFF casing

  7. With all those cool options available in the obsidian, its not worth $300. There are cooler option available on the net. Why not have have casings like thermaltake, Raidmax, Vantec etc. bought in for a change.

  8. As written on corsair website
"The Obsidian Series 800D and 700D full-tower cases share the same case dimensions, rock-solid construction, isolated cooling zones, and lots of other features that make them truly great cases for builders. Choose the Obsidian Series 800D if you’d like hot-swap SATA drive bays and the clear side panel strikes your fancy; if you don’t need the hot-swap feature and you like the look of the solid side panel, the Obsidian Series 700D is for you."

  9. I'd like to see more feature-rich casings on the entry level. At newegg, you can find amazing features on very well-priced casings. In pakistan, this is non-existent. Built-in fans, tool-free builds, even temp. readers, etc, etc
    all for 50$ or less.

  10. I am sorry.. this chassis is disappointing.

Cooler Master chassis are better and costs less. For few niche features, $300 is not worth it. Just from the looks of it and reading the specs, anyone can guess that this is just another chasis with nothing new to add any value.

As stated by someone else above, I really really think you guys should focus on SFF Media PCs. They're realy nifty and worth each buck. I am sure you guys are doing really good on ATOM based systems but i think you could do better with Atom + SFF based PCs.

Check some cool SFF Barebones from partners like Cooler Master, Shuttle and Silverstone.
